soliloquy

can't you see i'm dying?

I entrusted you with my everything,
My heart, my soul, my unwavering trust.
I gave my all just for you to throw it all away.

Your apologies, though voiced, are hollow,
Your actions, shows you true intention,
Revealing your indifference.

Your promises and love wrapped in empty phrases,
Now no longer yearned by me,
I am picking up the fragments of my fractured heart,
To leave this misery called love,

Your presence,
Nor will tears be shed for you.
My vulnerabilities are mine to keep,
For I recognize your lack of concern,

So farewell and good riddance,
May you find what eludes you,
But now it won't be discovered within my embrace.
